Dave Hodge:
Once a fixture on "Hockey Night in Canada", and fired for throwing a fit because he was cut short on his after the game wrap-up. Secured a job with TSN as the host of "That's Hockey". Got sort of pushed out of that job by the "Alfred E" look alike. Since then has always had an aggressive sort of opinion on all things pertaining to the game. A very self centered individual in my opinion. Knows his hockey, and wants everyone around him to know that by belittling them.
Micheal Lansburg:
A man who laughs at his own jokes, even when their not funny. Has a smile that looks like it's going to eat you. Sucks up to the stars. Patronizes those around him. Interupts his guests quite frequently. Is arrogant and rude. Is quick to jump on the bandwagon. Beats a theory into the ground until nobody else cares what he thinks. Makes a "BIG DEAL" out of the fact that he doesn't have to wear a tie on his show, when nobody seems to give a damn. Likes to hear himself talk and rarely listens to anyone.
Pierre MacGuire:
Probaby the biggest "Bullshitter" in the game today. Can make one believe an industrial hockey player is a superstar. Tries to be the "Howie Meeker" of this times hockey. Pushes his opinions on everyone who listens to him and spoils the interest of the viewing audience. Comes across with being an anti-Montreal Canadien fan "Except when their winning! Loves being right down there on ice level sucking up to the stars of the game. Is poison to listen to when teamed with Gord Miller.
Gord Miller:
TSN's "Alfred E Newman" look alike. Should have stayed as host of "That's Hockey", he was great in that forum. As a play-by-play commentator he sucks big-time! You can always tell when he thinks a team is bad. He continuously quotes the shots on goal, as a reminder to his audience, who is really controlling the game. Especially, it the team he is not cheering for has the lead. I have to admit he does his homework prior to each game he does and comes up with statistics that nobody would ever have thought of and are sometimes interesting. Him and Macguire are poison when paired up!
Ron MacLean:
Great hockey host! Is very accommodating to his guests. Keeps the flow of the interview smooth and interesting. His quotes are well timed and enlightening. He makes those around him comfortable. Takes a lot of shit from Cherry, who most would not. Has made Cherry the television icon he is. Without Ron, Cherry would be like Jerry Lewis without Martin. Over the years he has brought other personalities into to picture and made their comments count. He's absolutely great for Hockey Night in Canada. The only other pairing that comes as close to being interesting to listen to is when Dave Hodge and Howie Meeker got together on Hockey Night in Canada.
Don Cherry:
Years ago his "Coaches Corner" used to be great and very informative. Now, well to say the least he's past his time. It's time to be put out to pasture Donnie. Fans don't want to hear how great you are and how little we know. If I was Ron MacLean, you would have had a black eye for all the rude comments you directed towards him. And, to question his sexual gender on live television, well all I got to say is he never kissed players on television, or shows players doing it on the bench. Yet, with that said, you claim to be a man's man. Makes me wonder. Have to hand it to you though, you sure know how to make a buck with an idea.
