I wonder when Don Cherry is going to go on HNIC and tell everyone the hiring of John Anderson as coach of the Thrashers was the best thing the Thrashers ever did!! Comeon Donnie tell us how much you really know LOL.

Donnie has given John Anderson his support saying he will be an excellent coach in the NHL...outlining his capabilities in the AHL....he may be right...if he is why hasn't anyone listened...it's another example of Cherry picking a winner at another level and saying he should be in the NHL....well, hello Donnie...nothing like playing the odds and then being able to say "I told you so", again...eh!

I used to enjoy listening to Donnie, but now he's really getting annoying....his continuous statement "I told you" seems to have worn thin....if you listen to him you would think he's the only one who knows hockey and the way he treats Ron McLean is a sorrowful thing.

His commitment to the troops is admirable, but he's probably the first to run if there were trouble...perhaps he admires those who have more balls than him.

Last Saturday's coaches corner was a classic example of how he can contribute and at the same time not...his comments on Mats Sundin not wanting to go deep in the play-offs is right on and yes it does allow him to add years to his career by not doing so...thus, he refused to cancel the no trade clause....however, he should have left it at that, as he seemed to lose it seeing the injury being played back by one of his warriors...he then made fun of Ron's friendliness with Brad...something we really don't want to hear, but did..
