Leafs are looking for a General Manager and now coach....months ago I e-mailed Peddie and recommended the GM job go to Bobby Orr....this would probably be the most positive move the Leafs have made since the days of Punch Imlach.....Orr is a proven player and player rep...which is more than I can say for their recent GM hirings....he's a class individual and probably has forgotten more about the game than most can comprehend....imagine going into a room to negotiate a contract with Bobby Orr....how could you not listen to him and go with his thoughts?

Another possibility is George Burnett, coach and GM of the Belleville Bulls...what he's done for this "small market" junior team in his tenure is incredible to say the least...I believe he's a better GM than coach and at the same time I think his coaching abilities is astounding...he gets the most his players have to offer...and is quick to recognize when this is not going to happen and quickly deals that player for one that will.....proof is guys like Matt Belesky & Corey Tanaka, who are players who play with their heart on their sleeves and recognized by George...then you got guys like Johnny Hughes who just wasn't getting the job done and was dealt to another team where he proceeded to do less than expected of him....

Can you imagine Orr and Burnett making a combination of GM/Coach for the Leafs?...what a positive move that would be....
